"Star of the Sea" Released

Our newest short film, Star of the Sea, is has been released. The silent film stars Hannah Hogan and Joey Simon.

Last night, the film premiered at Campus MovieFest at Georgia Southern University and took home three awards. Joey Simon won Best Actor for his silent performance, director of photography David Besh won Best Cinematography, and writer, director, and editor Connor Rentz accepted the Jury Award. Star of the Sea will screen and compete at TERMINUS, a national film festival, this summer.

Star of the Sea is the eighth film from Apple Man Productions. It is the third award-winning film from the company following Spectrum and Point Seven-Three. This is the second film from Apple Man Productions to be filmed at the Privateer Yacht Club in Tennessee, who were very welcoming of our cast and crew.
